Do you work to refine and change the thinking in your heart, mind and soul? Is the Word of God speaking into your heart at this moment? Are you getting a fresh picture of Jesus and his methodologies of ministry? Do you reexamine your worldview to focus on the Kingdom of our Lord? Are you even open to the Lord revealing truth that might not matchup with your understanding of Scripture? Continual self-development means building on your strengths and seeking new insights and challenges. The unlearning curve can prove to be steeper than the learning curve. Think of how Peter responded to the new truth that Jesus must die and rise from the dead.
Jesus said to Peter, You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men. (1)
We pray that you can learn His lessons effectively.
