![]() A Kingdom Leader has the head of a learner that responds with understanding. That discretion produces compassion, consideration, perception and awareness. You respond to people and questions with grace and maturity. Are you advancing spiritually? Do you take note and comprehend the hand of God moving in your life daily? Do you perceive and accept the things of God? Jesus amazed the teachers with the ability to understand at the age of twelve. Luke 2:47 says, everyone who heard him was amazed at this understanding and his answers. (1) We pray that you can bring the different activities around you into focus and see the Lord. ![]() A Kingdom Leader has the head of a learner. They are open to learn by listening and asking questions. They are progressing despite continual buffeting from a tide of problems coming in their path. Have you become skilled in the affairs of life with practical wisdom and wise management? Do you form the best plans and select the best means to accomplish goals? You can do so by seeking sound judgment and good sense through quality questions. Jesus modeled this for us at the age of twelve. Luke 2:46 says, After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.(1) We are praying for you now. Cathy and Danny Sartin (1) The Holy Bible: New International Version. Electronic ed. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1996, c1984, S. Lk 2:46 ![]() A kingdom leader has a mind that is saturated in the Word of God. The resulting influence of His Word is that your heart is willing and tender. You must think with the heart of a servant. Everything you do today should be to serve others and not be served. Is His Word on your mind right now? Do you approach each situation seeking to serve or be served? Are you setting aside your position to serve others? Christ did it voluntarily. Mark 10:45 says, for even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.[1] Cathy and Danny Sartin [1] The Holy Bible: New International Version. electronic ed. Grand Rapids : Zondervan, 1996, c1984, S. Mk 10:45 I have two requests now that we are back from Africa. Each has to do with a missionary that we are closely mentoring.
First, pray for Rolf Weichardt and the Youth for Christ ministry of South Africa. Audits of local ministry centers have uncovered some issues that must be addressed. Those who are responsible are vowing to bring down the organization. The new leadership of YFC has decided to return to the emphasis of evangelism that YFC was founded upon. Social concern had been the focus in the previous leadership. Rolf is under tremendous pressure. Please pray for him as he returns YFC to its roots of evangelism. Second, pray for Emelio Gassibe, Center Director for Cape Town YFC, and his brother Stan. In the words of Emelio, my brother Stanley has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. Doctors advised an emergency operation by Tuesday and later immediate dialysis in order to save his life. The operation costs at least R30 000 and thereafter an amount of R13 000 per month until a suitable donor is found. Please pray for the funds needed and a suitable donor for Stan. Your faithful prayers will work miracles. Thank you. ![]() The mind of a Kingdom Leader is to be focused on the Word of God. Your thinking should be saturated in God’s thinking. It is the only way to begin your journey of service today. What you think will influence what you do, how you respond and how you live with your family. Maximize your day with His thoughts. We are praying for you as we write. Cathy and Danny Sartin ![]() Mount up with wings as an eagle. . .those who wait on the Lord. A brown snake eagle in Africa. Our final two weeks in South Africa were focused on mentoring Emelio Gassibe of Cape Town YFC and meeting with his staff. Our time was also spent with Rolf Weichardt and his family. I also turned sixty on March 25th and the explosion was small. Cathy took Lizzie Weichardt to Yzerfontein to relax from the tremendous pressures Rolf has been placed under. Rolf was working sixteen hours a day with extremely thorny issues that no minister should have to face. But he is doing fine in the midst of it. All I can say is pray that the Lord sustains him through this trial by fire. |
