Impala Plans of wonder! Baby Impala's are some of the most beautiful antelopes in all of the world. We have seen hundreds of thousands in Kruger National Park over the last ten years. They seem to be everywhere! I have jokingly called them happy meals for so many of the carnivores such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs and jackals. These elegant antelopes seem to be on everyone's menu. But they breed in large numbers and graze the Savanna grasslands of Africa. They are known for their spectacular leaps when disturbed or frightened. Their speed and elusiveness is breathtaking. Our first view of a cheetah was nearly ten years ago. Less than twenty yards away was an Impala male. He was stomping the ground and snorting at the spent cat. I was amazed! Apparently the cheetah had unsuccessfully chased some of the Impala and had to rest to recover from the all out run. One of our visits to Kruger was during a special time of the year. In just a two week window all of the female Impala's had given birth to their babies. It was God's way of making the vulnerable youngsters so plentiful that the cats could not kill them all. Thus he insured a large family of antelopes for the year round needs of the carnivores. God's timing provided safety for the youngsters! Take note of God's timing in your life. When we look back at events in our lives we often see the masterful timing of God. We are thankful for his attention to the small details in each of our lives. He knows. He can see what we can't see. A Kingdom Leader recruits’ a high-quality influential worker for the ministry. That means the best of the best are usually engaged with full schedules. They services are frequently in high demand! How do you recruit the best of the best? I asked that question of a board member who ran a world-wide business called Holiday Inns. He said, you must help them to see the value of what is being done. They will always need some time to adjust their schedule and responsibilities, so they can engage the ministry. But they must see you first as a leader! They must be aware of what you are doing. 19 So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him, and he was with the twelfth. Elijah passed by him and cast nhis cloak upon him. Again, I love the thoughts of Warren Wiersbe. Have you noticed in the Bible that God usually calls people who are busy? Moses was caring for the sheep; Gideon was threshing wheat; Peter, James, and John were busy in their fishing business; Nehemiah was cupbearer to the king. God has no place for lazy people. Have you cast your cloak upon another? Is your organization, vision and heart clear to busy people? Can they see your work and comprehend it in a glimpse? Maybe you need to organize your thoughts, so they can be presented in a concise and simple form. Assume you only have seconds to get your message across! That is what Elijah did!
