A Kingdom Leader works hard to have a perceptive mind. He is keenly aware that people face difficulties that are seldom clear to others. Are you perceptive enough to recognize the words and behavior of someone who is struggling?
His sharp insight is taught by the Spirit of God at times that seems inopportune. Consider how God the Father awakened Jesus morning by morning to teach him.
- Isaiah 50:4b (NIV)
- He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
Are you listening to the messages of the Holy Spirit? Do you find his guidance inconvenient and awkward? Do you become upset when you wake up during the night? Is it possible that God is wakening you for a purpose? Could he want some individual mentoring time with you?
Jesus did not pull away but carefully listened to the instruction of His Father. God taught Jesus the words of the weary. What is he trying to teach you? Wake up and don’t miss those special training sessions.
