A Kingdom Leader has character that is teachable. Each leader is a continual learner but their openness comes from a desire to be the best. They are not content with average but strive for a measure of excellence.
Are you stretching yourself toward excellence? How productive are you today? Are you continually learning new skills, knowledge and abilities? Do you give your best despite difficulties and painful discouragements? Daniel exhibits a character that is teachable when Nebuchadnezzar selected him for training and service.
Daniel 1:3-4 says then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring in some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility-young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand and qualified to serve in the king’s palace. We pray that you will strive to be the best you can be despite circumstances that may make your service to our Lord difficult. We love you.
