A Kingdom Leader is always focused and intently listening to the voice of the Lord. The message is not filtered to fit his personal understanding and experience. This often creates an internal wrestling match between the leader's thinking, feeling and behavior. Do you feel anxious today about the world around us? Can you stand up for Jesus in the face of death? Have you looked closely at the Prophet Daniel and his visions? Christ tells us to go there to understand the issues in the end times. Unfortunately our own religious background and training can filter out the messages of Christ that are simple and clear. When he told the disciples that he would die and rise from the dead in three days it went against Peter's understanding of how Christ would rule in the future. He clearly rebukes Jesus! Mark 8:32 (NIV) 32 He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. Spiritual truths are often beyond our capacity to grasp and quickly accept. We have to wrestle with God to help shape our thinking and feelings. Have you wrestled with His message today? Stop, look and listen to what He has to say. We seek your prayers for us as we lift you to the Lord this morning. May we both hear the plain truth now. Cathy and Danny Sartin Copyright © Danny Sartin. All Rights Reserved.
